CTO Leadership
As a CTO, you are the formal leader of the technical experts in your organization and an informal leader to many others. Your role requires you to lead, delegate, and influence—but these may not always be your strongest skills. Depending on
the situation, you may face challenges that test your leadership approach.
This training provides useful concepts, practical examples, and discussions to help you identify your leadership style and learn how to adapt when needed.
What you’ll learn
- Insights into your preferred leadership style, including its strengths and challenges
- Strategies for managing different personalities and handling resistance as a leader
- Understanding and application of situational leadership
Why This Training Stands Out from Other Leadership Trainings
- Tailored for CTOs
This training is specifically designed for CTOs, ensuring that
everything covered is directly applicable to your role. - Focus on Behavioral Change
Understanding leadership concepts is easy,
applying them in real-world situations is much harder. This training emphasizes practical application rather than just knowledge. - Peer Learning
All participants are CTOs, allowing you to learn from each other and engage in discussions that are highly relevant to your challenges. - Hands-on Case Work
You bring in your own case, and through discussions and insights from both the trainer and fellow participants, you will explore different approaches to tackle your challenges. - Experienced Trainer
The trainer has extensive experience in environments similar to yours, ensuring relevant insights and guidance.
What you’ll get
This training consists of three parts:
- The first online session introduces the training, the group and the assignment to bring a case to the training day.
- The training day starts in the morning with participants to introduce their case and while they do, their preferred leadership style will be identified. As a group leadership styles are explored and the model of situational leadership will be introduced to practices with after lunch. The remainder of the afternoon will be spent on personalities and team dynamics.
- The second online session is for the participants to share their learning and what they applied in practice
