Testing is part of your quality strategy

We all want to deliver quality software. Testing is an important tool to guarantee that quality.

Learn what quality is about, and how to achieve quality through testing, in this workshop by a renowned expert.

What you’ll learn

Testing is a proven technique in software development to assure quality of code, and to prevent bugs to appear in places where you didn’t expect it.

However, developing a good strategy is often a struggle. Tests often take a lot of work, and they tend to be very brittle when things change.

In this workshop, you’ll learn how to develop a resilient test strategy, and how this can fit in the QA strategy of your company.

You’ll learn about:

  • What is quality?
  • The automated testing landscape
    • A taxonomy of tests
    • Testing models and strategies
    • The holistic testing model
  • Test-first development
  • The fallacy of integrated end-to-end tests
  • How to handle legacy code
    • Inside-out vs outside-in
    • Approval tests
  • Measuring quality
    • How to create a culture where tests are normal and valued

This Testing workshop is specifically designed for CTOs.

What you’ll get

  • Practical templates: Work on a concrete testing strategy using tested templates.
  • Implementation strategies: Learn how to involve your team and build consensus.
  • Q&A sessions: Ask your specific questions and receive tailored advice.
